The Last Whitby WV Tipple

Thanks very much to the McBride family and their sharing of the picture below. The Whitby tipple picture below is from the 1980's and is almost EXACTLY what I recall seeing when I was a child visiting Whitby. The Tipple before the fire (December 1963), was at one time the best that Sterling Smokeless could offer. The tipple that you see below is the very last processing structure in Whitby and by ~1986 it was gone....This was such an active and integral part of Whitby that I could not ever imagine that it would go away. Every morning, that I was ever in Whitby the tipple was active.....A table has been provided below with all related links to the Tipple at Whitby WV.......
