Whitby WV in 2007

Thanks to Bob and Ginny Lilly, I was able to hike and see the following as what is left of Whitby WV in 2007. As of this time, most of what I have recorded at this site does still remain at the Whitby WV camp. In the front of the Whitby church I found this wonderful lump of coal. I loved finding the coal there as it was next to where the tracks used to be in front of the church.

Bituminous Coal from Whitby WV!!

I am sad to say however, that the house in the picture below was being claimed for lumber. This was the house of Bob Saye at Whitby WV one of Whitbys original Miners.
