As seen below the church at Whitby WV in 2006 has changed. Now the building is covered in aluminum siding and has new colors of white and brown. This is very different compared to the orginal white with green and of course, the orginal asbestos siding is now gone. However, the bell tower allows the bell at Whitby to be seen clearly. As early as March of 2006, the chur ch retained its traditional siding and colors. In 2004, the wooden stairs that lead to the church entrance as well as the church basement were gone. The stairs were replaced with a concrete ramp and the basement was filled. This saved the church as years of flooding had rotted the support beams.
